Dunbei Park Dog Exercise Area is inside Dunbei Park at the corner of Dunhua North Road and Minquan East Road in Taipei's Songshan District, the city's second dog-specific exercise space. The roughly 200-square-meter area has a shared run zone for both large and small dogs, along with benches, washing stations, dog-waste bag dispensers, and trash bins. It officially opened on November 30, 2023, with a Christmas-themed launch event featuring pet costume contests, games, and prize drawings that drew dog owners from across the city. The convenient location and compact, well-equipped footprint make it a useful quick stop for downtown residents.

Manyueyuan Waterfall sits inside the Manyueyuan National Forest Recreation Area in New Taipei's Sanxia District. The falls drop roughly 20 meters, thundering during the rainy season and thinning into delicate threads during dry spells, framed by forested slopes and the Laizi Stream. The air is heavy with negative ions and phytoncides, and a maintained trail connects Manyueyuan with nearby Virgin and Silver Curtain falls so visitors can tour several cascades in a single walk. The path is graded and clearly marked, suited to families and casual hikers, and summer mist makes the cool air the area's signature pleasure. Viewing platforms along the way are ideal for resting and photography.
