Open year-round with free admission and parking, it is an excellent rainy-day destination for families, school groups, and corporate visits.

Puxin Ranch at No. 439, Section 1, Youshi Road, Yangmei District, Taoyuan City, is a sizeable family and pet-friendly ranch in northern Taiwan. The park centers on the Cute Animal Village, where visitors can hand-feed capybaras, alpacas, sika deer, and rabbits. Activities include cow and goat milking, a miniature train, children's splash pool, camping and picnic areas, and a dedicated pet playground. The Green Garden Restaurant serves home-style dishes made with fresh ingredients for the whole family. Tickets range from approximately NT$300 for adults to NT$150-250 for students and children.

Dasi Riverside Park in Dasi District, Taoyuan City, spans about 6.9 hectares, blending green spaces, ecology, and family-friendly play areas. The park features expansive lawns, a pirate ship-themed playground, fitness equipment zone, mountain bike trail, and two children's play areas. Visitors enjoy picnicking, running off energy, cycling, and photographing autumn and winter bald cypress foliage. Both sides are lined with traditional snack stalls and retro cafes, offering local favorites like dried tofu, tofu pudding, and handmade sausage at affordable prices. No admission fee is required, and the street is friendly for both children and pets. Nearby attractions include the Wood Art Eco Museum, Old Bridge Park, and pet-friendly cafes, making it easy to plan a full day of leisurely strolling through history and local culture.
