Biyun Fire-Spring Trail in Tainan's Baihe Guanziling starts from the right entrance of Biyun Temple's Three Jewels Hall and loops around Zhen Tou Mountain in a 1.3-kilometer O-shaped route. The path consists mainly of gentle slopes with wooden steps, gravel stairs, and flat dirt tracks, all shaded by dense primary forest. The trail's highlight is the legendary 'Fire and Water Coexisting' phenomenon at its endpoint: natural gas flames emerge endlessly from a rock face while spring water flows beside them, creating a rare natural wonder. Zhuxi Waterfront in Tainan's South District, along Section 1 of Jiankang Road and adjacent to the Sports Park, is an urban green space themed around natural river scenery. Lush lawns, a riverside cycling path, and pedestrian walkways connect both banks via three bridges, including the historic Phoenix Old Suspension Bridge and the new Yuesee Bridge, both popular photo spots. The park includes accessible ramps, a children's playground, colorful hopscotch zones, and a combined climbing-and-slide play structure, making it a welcoming destination for families and couples seeking an afternoon stroll, bike ride, or photo session. Zongye Cultural Center in Tainan's Madou District is an arts and culture space converted from the former Madou Zongye Sugar Factory. Dense tree canopies offer generous shade, letting visitors enjoy cool outdoor relaxation even during hot summers — an inviting spot for leisurely strolls, photography, and cultural exploration.

Laotanghu Art Village in Tainan's Xuejia District was originally a fish farm transformed over 30 years by artist Kuang Yi (also known as Kuang Jinfu), who collected bricks, timber, and other materials from more than a hundred old houses across Taiwan to build a lakeside retro art village. The grounds preserve Minnan-style architecture, red-brick old houses, small bridges, and a jade-green lake. Visitors can rent period costumes, try hand-pulled boat rides, and enjoy street performances — a distinctive destination combining summer retreat, photography, and cultural experiences. Adult admission is approximately NT$100, with free or half-price entry for Xuejia residents, children, and seniors.
