Thousand-Layer Rock Waterfall is a hidden natural gem along Gaoshui Stream in Tainan's Nanhua District. The waterfall drops about 10 meters, with water cascading over tilted layers of stratified rock. A massive boulder jutting out at the center — nicknamed the 'Sky Stone' — forms a striking heart-of-the-waterfall landmark. The trail from the parking area is an easy 20-minute walk on a gentle path, passing turquoise pools and unusual rock formations along the way. No entrance fee is required, and the site is accessible year-round, though spring and summer bring higher water flow for a more impressive spectacle.

Xuejia Zoo, also known as Wanpi World Wildlife Zoo, is located in Xuejia District, Tainan, and is southern Taiwan's largest outdoor animal theme park. Wide walking paths connect diverse exhibit zones, offering close-up feeding experiences with giraffes, capybaras, zebras, and hippos.
