Taiwan Oil Mine Exhibition Hall is located in Gongguan, Miaoli, the site of Taiwan's earliest oil discovery and one of the world's oldest oil fields still in production. Through projection, VR glasses, interactive multimedia, and other media, the museum transports visitors back to the 1960s oil field extraction scene, displaying formation models, drilling equipment, and oil-gas pipeline transportation. Beyond historical exhibits, the hall also offers cable car and submarine simulation experiences, perfect for families with children. Admission is free, and the rich interactive learning opportunities let adults and children alike understand how petroleum forms and is extracted in a relaxed environment.
