Sha-Xi Fort occupies the Sha-Xi military camp at the far western tip of Little Kinmen (Lieyu), refurbished from a former frontline post into a sea-viewing scenic point. The grounds offer wooden boardwalks, painted tunnels and viewing gazebos along a path several hundred metres long, with 270-degree ocean panoramas reaching to Xiamen, Da-Dan Island, Er-Dan Island and Bing-Lang Islet. Inside the tunnels are cute murals and interactive mini-games, and free binoculars let visitors scan the opposite shore. Toilets, a visitor centre and a drinks stall round out the amenities. Admission is free year-round - ideal for families, couples and photo enthusiasts.

The Kinmen Bridge is a sea-crossing bridge linking Greater Kinmen and Little Kinmen (Lieyu). Opened at the end of 2022, it replaced the every-half-hour ferry with a five-minute drive. The red-and-white structure has become one of Kinmen's most photogenic landmarks; a viewing platform at the bridgehead offers views of the strait and both islands. Beyond pure convenience, it is a great summer cooling-off destination - visitors can drive or walk across to feel the sea breeze and the sweeping scenery.
