Sankeng Old Street, also known as Longtan First Street, is located in Longtan District, Taoyuan City. It is a well-preserved Qing Dynasty Hakka settlement only 104 meters long, yet rich in Hakka culture. Centered on Yongfu Temple, the street features stone lions at the temple entrance and a quaint atmosphere that draws visitors for worship and photography. The street was also a filming location for the movie David Loman, adding cultural appeal. Free parking is available at the Sankeng Natural Ecology Park lot and behind the temple, though spaces are limited so arriving early is recommended. The flat, accessible trail is suitable for all ages, families, and couples seeking summer relief, walking, or cycling, and can be extended to the Baiji Forest Trail and other historic paths. Open 24 hours for free with nearby parking and cafes, it is a popular summer retreat and cultural destination in Dasi.
