Standing on the Wanrendui headland at the west side of Keelung Harbor since 1900, this historic lighthouse was rebuilt in reinforced concrete in 1962. The trail in is gentle and free, opening to a 180- to 270-degree seascape sweeping toward Keelung Islet and the working container docks. The route can be extended to the adjacent Baimihuo Battery for a half-day of coastal photography.

At roughly five kilometers, the Waimushan Trail is Keelung's longest natural coastal path, threading from the harbor's west side to the Aodi fishing village. Bus 302 from Keelung Station stops at key entry points, and the route links Dawulun White Sand Beach for swimming and sand play.
