The path traces the La-Ku-La-Ku stream valley past the Shan-Feng suspension bridges and waterfall, the Jia-Xin station and other heritage sites, with vegetation shifting from subtropical to mid-elevation forest. A solar-powered mountain hut provides bunks and water, and a park entry permit is required. The trailhead is reachable by private car or public bus from Ba-Tong-Guan.
