Adoption requires ID and an approximately NT$500 fee that bundles microchipping, rabies vaccine and registration, and adopters may bring their own leash or carrier. Hours run Monday through Saturday (closed Wednesdays), 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 2:00-4:30 p.m.

The city government plans to expand the pet-friendly network with a second pet park and indoor pet spaces, underscoring Keelung's push toward becoming a pet-friendly city.
