Jiuliaoxi Geba Waterfall is the endpoint of a roughly 4-kilometer natural trail inside the Jiuliaoxi Ecological Park in Lunpi Village, Datong Township, Yilan. The trail splits into a roughly 2.2 km front section and a 1.8 km back section, mostly flat with cement surface, suited to families and casual hikers. The falls are about 15 meters tall with abundant flow and a wonderfully cool retreat in summer. The route is shaded by dense forest with a babbling stream, and rich ecology can be spotted along the way. The trail is free to enter, reachable mainly by car via the Yilan interchange of Freeway 5 and then Provincial Highway 7 to Datong.

Open daily 08:00-17:00, with closures on rainy days or when typhoon warnings are issued.

The stream water is cool, making it a natural summer spa, and visitors can splash or soak their feet on the rocks along the path. Easy to reach, about an hour by bus from Luodong or Taipei, it's a popular family destination for cooling off in Yilan's summer.
